SEARCHING FOR A HOLIDAY HOME
Click on the holiday country of your choice. Your browser will be directed to a so-called country page. From there, you can also click on specific regions. Within countries/regions you will have a few extra search options: advanced search on house characteristics, on a specific theme, on house/town-name and house code. The presented holiday homes meet the specified search criteria. When there are no holiday homes with the specified search criteria you will get a warning before we present the result/results.HOLIDAY HOME DESCRIPTIONS
First we present you an overall description of your selection via a photo from the holiday home, price and the number of persons accommodated. Please click 'read more' for a detailed holiday home description. The second letter combination in the house code indicates the region or province where the holiday home is located. After booking you will always get a route description.Google/maps
In the holiday home description you will find a Google-map with the position of the holiday home. In certain situations (technical malfunction) it is possible you will see an OUT!-map with a coordinate of the global position of the holiday home. Because OUT! has no influence on the performance of Google, OUT! can not be held responsible for mistakes in the positioning of holiday homes caused by technical malfunction/deviations from Google.Always a complete, private holiday home
Unless stated otherwise you will get a complete independent home unit with OUT!.Recommended and maximum number of persons
The number of people a house can accommodate is not only determined by the number of beds, but also by other factors such as the layout of the bedrooms, the bathroom facilities and dining-area. That is why OUT! is very selective in counting the number of beds. The standard applied by OUT! is a maximum of 2 standard single beds or 1 double bed per bedroom. Any beds above this limit (incl. sofa beds and sometimes even bunk beds) are not usually counted in full by OUT!, even if they are of sufficient quality. (This standard does however not apply in case of group accommodations). A '4-6 person house' therefore has 4 beds that are counted in full as well as 2 extra sleeping places. For more detailed information, always refer to the house description. In the list of search results it is possible that the 4-6 person house is presented as a 2-6 persons house. This happens often when a certain property is price technically attractive for smaller groups or even has a lower price for 2 persons. It will be more clear when you click through to the holiday home description. An OUT! house is always properly equipped for the maximum number of persons accommodated, but additional persons are not allowed. You should realize that beds in a foreign country may be somewhat softer, narrower and shorter than you are used to.
The layout of the holiday homes
The descriptions of the various parts of the house, such as living room, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, garden and surroundings, are largely self explanatory. For the bedrooms, 1x2 refers to one double bed, and 2x1 refers to two single beds For information on linen, refer to the section on reservations. An OUT! kitchen is always equipped with sufficient cooking, eating and drinking accessories, a refrigerator and a possibility to make coffee. Often, the kitchen is described as being more complete. Extra items such as toasters, citrus squeezers etc. are then available but are not mentioned by name. Larger items such as ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers are mentioned by name. The last two are sometimes listed under 'bathroom facilities'. Extra fees may apply to certain facilities such as a sauna. In France, living rooms do not always include a dining area as well. For such information, be sure to read the personal comments! This way, you can benefit from objective comments from someone who knows the house personally!Classified and special labeled holiday homes
Holiday homes may be awarded with a specific house labels, for an explanation of the various lables, click Labels. All holiday homes have an entensive qualification, see Qualification.RESERVATIONS, OPTIONS & VIEWINGS

Call us for a OPTION without engagement when you don't want or can not make the reservation yet or when you first want a VIEWING!
Please be aware that when making a reservation (on this website this is only possible through the 'make a booking'- or 'request' button) it will be a definate booking. Are you not yet completely sure? Please call us to inform if it is possible to make an option without engagement! In most cases you can take an option up to 3 months before the stay (for holiday homes until 10 persons) and up to 6 months before the stay (for holiday homes from 10 persons or more). You can 'enjoy' the option for free, without engagement and for the maximum of one week. Exceptions are possible, call us! If desired you can view/visit the holiday home during the option period. That always happens with an appointment (so that the owners/care takers can show you the holiday home from the inside) and because of privacy-considerations never during the stay of a customer.Why/When do we present a holiday home as 'on request'?
In our stepwise reservation procedure we inform you beforehand if with your confirmation a reservation is definate or that you request for acceptation of your request/last minute. For the 'request' holiday homes, we always carry out an extra check on the local information available to us regarding availability before making any promises to our guests. If the accommodation turns out to be available, your request will become a definitive booking and binding. If you select a holiday home with direct online availability you will have a greater degree of certainty beforehand, as the reservation information for these holiday homes is 100% up-to-date and the reservation is binding. In case of last minutes we always want to check the availability information and the preparedness of the holiday home owner/caretaker before we confirm to our guests on such short notice.COSTS, PAYMENT/INVOICE OR CANCELLATIONS & what else you NEED TO KNOW
Costs
The cost of your stay includes the rental sum, any additional costs and the booking fee. The standard booking fee is 25.00 euro. For some holiday homes the rental sum is dependent on the number of persons. If you select the right number of persons we will present you (before making the reservation) the correct rental sum. Apart from that it is important that the number of persons on your travel documents are correct.Senior (55+) and young families discounts
Holiday parks are familier with above mentioned discounts. But also more and more private holiday home owners are working with the discounts these days. For example because they would like to have seniors and young families as guests or because they remember how expensive a vacation is as a young family. You will recognize these holiday homes with discounts directly. With holiday parks you will see the applicable discount in the holiday home- or holiday park description. With our private holiday homes the standard discount is 10% on week stays outside the school holidays for a 55+ booker (senior discount) or a family with minimum 1 child not elder than 4 years (young families discount). Unlike the discounts for 'last minutes' and 'special discounts' are the senior and young families discounts not automatically calculated. If you qualify for one of the discounts we ask you to contact us by phone or email as soon as possible after making the reservation. After checking we will update/correct the invoice under 'My Out' and if desired send you a new confirmation by email/post.Invoices/confirmations and payment
After making your reservation, you will (additional to our online/realtime confirmation) receive an invoice per email/post confirming your reservation. Your invoice is always accessible through 'My Out'. In the unlikely event that you do not receive our emails/post you will always be able to avail of your invoice for they payment through 'My Out'. From abroad you will be able to pay your invoice through a bank transfer or by Visa-/Mastercard. Within 7 days of your reservation you are expected to make a payment equal to 30% of the rental sum invoiced plus any reservation, Emergency Fund fee and insurance costs involved, see Insurance).Insurances and cancellations
The guest can, at his/her risk, decide not to take a cancellation or travel insurance or take a policy with a different company. Because regular liability insurances will not cover damages to rental accommodations the OUT!-guest is on behalf of OUT! insured to a maximum of EUR 2.250,- for damages to rental accommodations. If desired you can cancell your reservation. The annulation costs are stipulated by the ANVR-Conditions, in association with the Consumers' Association.
