Out! Qualification system and customer satisfaction
An explanation of the OUT!-qualification system:

This guide assigns scores to three different aspects on a scale of 1 (low) to 5 (high)! The blue scores refer to the quality of the equipment/facilities ('stars'). The green scores refer to the location/tourist facilities in the immediate surroundings. The red scores refer to the ambience/character of the house. Quality largely determines this aspect.
The lowest score (1) is almost never given by OUT! A score of 1 or 2 is assigned to aspects of a house that meets the minimum requirements with regard to facilities (blue score), location (green score) and atmosphere/character (red score). Such houses, for example, are very suitable for nature lovers who do not desire any added comfort. A score of 3 can refer to a well looked after house (red score) with basic facilities (blue score) and a neutral location (green score). A score of 4 or 5 is given only if there are many extra's present (blue score), the house has a pleasant ambience and character (red score) and if it is beautifully located (green score).
Remember: it is always a mix of factors that is being scored.
After reading the house descriptions and especially the personal comments, you will probably get a feeling for the more subtle differences involved.
Example 1 :

Very stylish house with lots of character and excellent facilities in an average location. This kind of house would be very suitable for a group wishing to celebrate Christmas in a cosy house.
Example 2:

Sober house in an excellent location. This house might be located next to the beach, making it suitable for surfers who are looking only for a decent place to sleep.
Customer satisfaction
Before a holiday home is presented in the OUT! holiday home catalogue or on www.out.travel, we will have a personal inspection. We will classify the holiday home on a scale of 1 (low) to 5 (high) on facilities (blue score), atmosphere/caracter (red score) and location (green score). Subsequent a holiday home will have a standard qualification as 'good' (silver) and in exceptional cases 'excellent/very good (gold). Not OUT! Travel but our customers define indeed ultimately the customer satisfaction. Holiday homes with an 'insufficient' as judgement will ofcourse not be presented. After their stay our customers will receive a quality survey with 30 different questions. These questions will be answered using the received email or through visiting 'my OUT!' on www.out.travel. Depending on the scores from the customer satisfaction it is possible that a 'silver' holiday home with scores of good/very good/excellent will obtain a 'gold' score. With disappointing experiences it is also possible a holiday home can fall back towards bronze (sufficient). When the experiences are worse OUT! Travel will no longer present this holiday home.
Please be aware that customers can be very satisfied about simple holiday homes. On the other hand luxury holiday homes don't have to be without complaints. Always read the customer satisfaction in combination with our classification and house description. In every house description you will be able to find the score on all 30 questions separately. Also an important source of information is our guestbook.
