Frequently asked questions
1. ACCESSABILITY
Question: How can I reach OUT! Travel?
Answer: Our bookings office in Veghel is open from Monday to Thursday from 09.00-17.00 hours, on Friday from 09.00-16.00 hours and is reachable by phone on +31(0)413-385885). Usually our staff who select the holiday homes are in the office and you can chat with them live through the website. You can find contact and background information regarding OUT! employees through Qui sommes-nous?. Our emergency numbers (24/7) for guests on holiday and guests on their way to the holiday homes can be found under Centrale d'alarme.2. UNDERSTANDING THE HOLIDAY HOME PRESENTATIONS:
Question: OUT! presents available homes as homes 'to reserve' and homes 'on request'. What does that mean?
Answer: On its website OUT! Travel presents its holiday homes as 'to reserve' and 'on request'. Before you confirm the reservation in the step by step reservations procedure we will let you know whether your reservation is definate or on request/last minute. With 'on request' we mean holiday home owners who don't have the possibility to keep their reservations planning 'realtime' up-to-date on the internet. In this case there is always a possibility the holiday home owner has just taken a booking for himself. With last minute bookings we check the availability personally ie the preparedness of the owner/keyholder before our guests arrive at short notice.Question: I have just booked a holiday home by OUT!, but on the website it says the house is 'free'. How is that possible?
Answer: The OUT! website operates 'realtime'/'live'. If you press F5 your screen will update and the house will display as 'occupied'. Unless there are more units of the particular holiday home (with for example holiday parks).Question: If I request availability for two weeks from 1-14 July and from 7-21 July, i see that the first period is free and the second period is taken. How is that possible?
Answer OUT! shows the availability of the requested periods. The period from the 1-14 July is available to book when both weeks are 'free'. If the week 14-21 July is 'occupied', then you cannot book the two weeks 7-21 of July even if the first week is free.Question: Sometimes I see the same house photo with another description. How is that possible?
Answer: That can happen when:1. The same type of holiday home on a holiday park.
2. In the case of individual units in one holiday home. (for example, two different apartments in one holiday home).
3. Large houses can be rented for only a part of the house or the house in total. The part that is not rented out will remain locked and empty during your stay. Because it is not possible for anyone else to book the 'empty' part of the house during your stay, it will be 'occupied' on the website.
4. Certain large houses have a number of individual units. The entire house (all the units) is not available if one of the units is booked. You can only book the remaining free units.
Question: OUT! often has a very good price for her holiday homes. Does OUT! show the rental price per person?
Answer: No, the price shown on our website is the price for the holiday home for the requested period. For some of the holiday homes the price is dependant on the number of people. When large houses have a lower price for smaller groups, this will be shown on the website. You will see the exact price for the specified number of people.Question: Why is a damage insurance so important?
Answer: Because regular third party and home insurances do not cover damages to rental properties. See the menu-option L'assurance. Consider a situation where there is unintentional damage and you do not feel responsible. Compare this with the rules for car hiring: You are covered for damages (perhaps by a third party) that happen during the period you are responsible for the car (read 'house and inventory').The OUT! prices include a damage insurance. Because of this we are sure we will only send insured guests to our holiday home owners, as agreed with them in our contract.
